One of the biggest assets a person must have is faith. A lot of us do believe and have faith in God. This basically means that we believe God will help us in times of trouble and need. That God will always be there to support us every step of the way. This kind of faith is the greatest strength for most of us. But what about your partner? Do you believe in your partner and have faith in them?
When asked, most will answer that I possess that kind of faith in my partner. We’ll, that’s great! At least they possess that kind of faith. However, many will still not be sure about the answer and lots of people know that they can’t simply have the faith in their partner.
How about your partner, do they have faith in you? Simply ask them to know the answer. What if you ask them this way, ‘Suppose I met and dated someone for a very short time and confess everything to you, will our relationship ever be the same again? Will you ever forgive me for what I’ve done and still accept me as me? The answer to these questions may differ from one couple to another however you’ll seldom find a person who can accept this situation.
When you broke your partner’s trust and faith in you, how can you regain the trust and faith in them? That you know they are still there for you after you have done something terrible? This sounds awful, right? Trust and faith doesn’t come that easy. It is always earned and works with commitment. Once you are committed with someone and that someone is a reliable person, you have that faith to a certain extent.
When you believe that your partner will always be there for you no matter what happens within the relationship is hard to say. Only few are lucky to have a partner like this.
What can you do? The best way is to draw an agreement with them verbally. Always commit fully to them and ask to have that faith in you always. You may ask them to commit as well so you can have the same faith in them. Once you own that faith, you will surely feel great simply because you’re sure that your partner will always be there for you and will never leave you.
