SCRUFF is the strongest Grindr alternative for gay and bi men, with a community that skews slightly older and furrier and an owner (Perry Street) with a notably better privacy posture — it does not sell user data for advertising. Venture and event features make it the best of the grid apps for travelers. Smaller pool than Grindr, better signal-to-noise.
