Our review
★★★★☆ 4.0
OkCupid’s thousands of match questions still produce the most information-rich compatibility scores in mainstream dating, and its identity and orientation options are the broadest of any big platform. It has drifted from its quirky web roots toward a swipe feed, but the question DNA survives. The crowd skews progressive, urban and 20s–30s. One of the better free experiences among the big apps.
Pros
- Deep compatibility questions
- Most inclusive gender/orientation options
- Usable without paying
Cons
- Less active than Tinder or Hinge in many areas
- Swipe redesigns removed beloved features
- Question quality varies wildly
